When I arrived at the hotel, I found the rooms to be pleasantly spacious but with an antiseptic smell that was not very welcoming. There was an unnecessary light that would periodically light up, possibly for the smoke detector. The service was very helpful in accommodating my late check-in request, but unfortunately, it was quite unhelpful both at the hotel and during the booking process. The location was perfect for my needs, being close to UVM, Church Street Marketplace, shopping, and restaurants, although it could use a good cleaning. The dining experience was just OK but could have been warmer. Overall, the combination of the great location and reasonable price made up for some of the downsides.
